PRACTICE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Marie Vidal is a European and French Patent Attorney.

A chemical engineer specialized in organic and pharmaceutical chemistry, Marie holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Würzburg, where her research focused on the role of adrenergic receptors and ERK1/2 in cardiac hypertrophy and graduating from the École Européenne de Chimie, Polymères et Matériaux de Strasbourg (ECPM). She is also a graduate of CEIPI.

Since 2017, Marie Vidal has been working as a patent attorney in a major French IP Law Firm. In 2022, she joined ICOSA as the Deputy Director of the Chemistry department.

On a daily basis, Marie Vidal guides startups in drafting patent applications and navigating examination procedures to secure patents from the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the European Patent Office (EPO).
