PRACTICE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Anne Savoye is a European and Belgian Patent Attorney. She is an expert in Biotechnology, specifically in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and in Biochemistry.

A Ph.D. graduate in Molecular Biology, she defended a thesis on the structural and functional study of a long non-coding RNA involved in the inactivation of gene expression at the AREMS Laboratory (University of Lorraine, Nancy). She also holds a diploma from CEIPI (Center for International Intellectual Property Studies).

Anne Savoye later took charge of validating viral vectors for characterizing neural networks by optogenetics at the Center for Psychiatry and Neuroscience in Paris.

She joined ICOSA in 2014 as a patent attorney within the Biotech-Biology team and is involved in patent drafting and the monitoring of procedures before the OPRI and the EPO.

Anne Savoye became the head of ICOSA Europe in 2017. She currently leads a team of 8 people, including 6 patent attorneys specializing in the fields of Chemistry, Biotechnology, and Medtech.
