Bérengère BOUDEAU is a European and French Patent Attorney. She graduated as an engineer from the School of Industrial Biology and obtained a specialization in invention patents from CEIPI. Her expertise lies in the field of biotechnology, gene therapy, immunotherapy, and biochemistry.

Bérengère began her career in intellectual property in 2015 as a patent spéecialist in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry (Guerbet, L’Oréal). She later worked for Généthon, specifically within their Intellectual Property department.

Continuing to advance in this sector, Bérengère collaborated with prestigious French IP Firms, where she notably guided SMEs and large groups in the pharmaceutical and biotechnological domains through their innovation strategies. She helped devise strategies for supplementary protection certificate (SPC) registrations.
In 2023, she achieved another significant milestone in her career by joining ICOSA as the Deputy Head of the Biotech department.

Bérengère supports startups and SMEs in patent application drafting, managing procedures with the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) and the European Patent Office (EPO), patentability analysis, and freedom-to-operate assessments.
She also contributed to an article on the patentability of antibodies in Europe.
