PRACTICE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Philippe is a European & French Patent Attorney. Specializing in mechanics and general physics, he has developed a true expertise in the fields of medical devices and medical technologies (MedTech).

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering Construction from INSA Lyon, Philippe also holds a university diploma from the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) with a focus on invention patents.

Philippe has been involved in industrial property since 2003. He notably began his career at an internationally renowned industrial property consulting firm, where he supported a diverse clientele ranging in size and industry sectors (small businesses, medium-sized enterprises, large industrial groups, public research institutes, universities, technology transfer companies) in their innovation strategies. He joined ICOSA’s Medtech team in 2022.

With a strong expertise in intellectual property valuation, Philippe regularly contributes to industrial property assessments (via BPI France programs) and is also involved in auditing intellectual property assets prior to fundraising efforts. He provides daily assistance to his clients throughout the process of obtaining, valuing, and protecting their patents in France, Europe, and internationally. Additionally, he conducts freedom-to-operate studies and is engaged in pre-litigation and litigation procedures.
