PRACTICE & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Biotechnology and Cell Biology expert, Yann TERRES is a trainee European patent attorney graduated from the CEIPI.
Yann holds a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Paris. Previously, he had built a strong foundation in Molecular Pharmacology through a Master’s program at the University René Descartes.
He began his professional journey in research at CNRS under the guidance of Dr. Bruno Gasnier. His research project was dedicated to understanding the role of lysosomal amino acid transporters in embryonic development, as well as exploring their implications in cellular homeostasis.
Yann transitioned to the field of intellectual property by joining ICOSA EUROPE’s Biotech-Biology team in 2021 as a Patent Engineer. He assists startups in patent drafting, monitoring issuance procedures before the EPO and OPRI.
